Updated forum search

Until a few days ago it was not possible to search this forum for any word or term that was less than 4 characters. This was problematic because it made it harder to find certain topics - and almost always resulted in me asking you to "Please search the forum before adding to the wish list, etc." We have modified the search index to allow a new list of three character terms. Those terms are:

We are making some changes to provide a more user-friendly experience - and more useful, in general. This was just the first step. I don't want to create another topic, but it's related to new Forum. Could you update style of forum to highlight forum section, when any new/updated topic is created? Just the same as it was before. I set BB bluebox forum as home page, but without checking latest post, it's hard to check if anything is updated. When I enter in BB sub-forum and see list of topics, it's always visible - bold. I believe it's only to update CSS style, but this this additional bold/color in subforum name is very useful.

…and one more related to forum. Could you make top banner (Support etc) slimmer? On ipad, all top hearers, logos etc takes 3/4 of screen and topics or threads are not visible without scrolling screen.

Thanks for the feedback. 0101-Usr. I looked at the forum icons, and they are supposed to gray out when the channel is read, but it's not doing it. I have reached out to the vBulletin folks to see if they have a fix for me.

I made the Support header smaller. It used to be 325 pixels high. It's now 150 pixels. I hope that helps.

0101-Usr - Try clicking through to at least one post after clicking Mark Channel as Read. That seems to make a difference. Which browser are you using? I found that MS Edge seems to be better about showing the "read" state of the channels right away. But Chrome and firefox appear to require you to click into a post.
