  • Possible for one sample to stop another sample when it's triggered?

Let's say I have an Open Hihat on one pad and a Closed Hihat on another pad. Is it possible for the Closed Hihat sample to stop the Open Hihat sample when it's triggered? This way I could have an Open Hihat with a long decay that would be much shorter when interrupted by a Closed Hihat, sounding more natural.

I've enjoyed this feature on drum machines before.

If not, let me know and I'll create a new thread in the Wishlist forum!

    Thanks!

Yes, this feature is called "exclusive mode" and you can turn it on/off in the "Tracks" page.
Note: you have to have both samples in the same column!

Awesome. I actually logged in tonight to ask the same question This is super helpful for open & closed hats.

I wrote in the wish-list forum today - this method really stinks for overall usability. I wish I could simply select which cells interact with each-other.
