I meant to post this as a reply but instead made a comment.

JoeFuture - how easy is it to edit the file you created? I'm very interested in getting one of these made through FPE but I would prefer a panel with the correct labeling when the module is turned upside down with the screen on the bottom. I have an all black system, save the BitBox and would like to make it all uniform. Thanks!

It should be very simple. I can try to work up that variation later tonight.

Wanted to share the panel in its glory. Looks excellent! Picture is attached.

Also, I edited and uploaded the panel to be included on modular grid. https://www.modulargrid.net/e/other-...ed-black-panel

Thank you very much for designing this. It's exactly what I was looking for!

denuir Wow! you got that back fast! It looks great! So glad it worked out!

Thanks for updating the panel on MG! I've never figured out how to do that, but having the silver panel in my racks was killing my OCD

Hello, is the front panel file from JoeFuture (BlackBox-FPE.zip) from 09-24-2018 the latest version of the black standard front panel?

I saw that there are several companies supporting this file format (you have to add the file extension .fpd to the filename in the Zif folder) and producing front panels. So for example http://www.schaeffer-ag.de/ in Germany also offering this service. A panel cost app. 60 €.

Yes, that should be the latest version of the normal-orientation panel. Good to know you can use the file with other manufacturers! I think the one-off aluminum panel I had made at FPE cost about $70 USD as a reference point. I haven't tried making a PCB version of it yet, but I suspect that would be much cheaper.

I have a handful of matte black faceplates for the Bitbox. If interested send me an email to lanceblais(at)gmail(dot)com. I only have a handful of these, but I will be doing these on another run in the future. Price is $30 because it's a larger module and it cost a bit more to get these printed. I will cover shipping in the USA.

I would buy one one as well if you still have some or consider doing another run. Thanks!
