  • 32gb SD card format?

Just for clarification, what's the correct SD card format for a 32gb SD card? Some seem to say MS DOS (FAT32), others EXFAT. I'm currently using MS DOS (FAT 32) and until recently I had no problems. However, I had a few files get corrupted and folders go missing in the last couple of days and I wondered if the SD card format might be the issue?

32GB cards should be ok with FAT32. Sizes larger than 32GB should use ExFAT.

i had SD card issues recently too. I did a complete format (not quick format) as exFAT, no problems since!

Yeah, I think I'm going to back up and try reformatting the card.

        Thanks both for your input.

          Hi all

What's the latest view on the right SD card to buy? I'm searching through the forum, but not found any discussion about it yet. Looking to get a bigger one that the 8gb current one.

UPDATE: Ignore that - just seen the stickie!

I'd recommend cards with 'A', 'A1', or 'A2' designations as they seem to handle streaming better.
