I have a Zoom R24 which is a great dawless recorder but it can only apply FX to samples recorded at 44.1k. For now I’m using an online converter to get my BB tracks from 48k to 44.1k. Does anyone know a better way to do this?

Lol I hope that comment is sarcasm. This is what I found from a customer on sweet water
Although I did rate this product as a 5,it was due to the tremendous sound quality, but there is a serious issue with the effects, however. I've always liked the quality of Zoom's effects in their products, but unfortunately-in the 48kHz recording mode,ALL of the effects are disengaged.
Trust me,this is not a case of operator error,as if you try to click on the effects button in the 48kHz mode,a message will pop up that reads; "only in 44.1 ! "

The accuracy of your claim about the Zoom's behavior was never in question.
I checked their docs - it cites this behavior in there clearly.
The smiley face with the tongue sticking out was included so as to communicate that the jab was in good fun, yes.
