I temporarily tested this amazing mod with an old lg phone battery (just 1.5Ah) waiting for bigger one. had another charge module with just 2 leds and decided to thrill myself positioning it on top and making two holes served by a 1.8mm Nylon wire as light extender.
regarding latching button, would be nicer but how did you solve with current switching on charge module between giving/receiving 5v without dual switch?

With 3000 mA Li-Po battery, display light 10%, volume 90 %, 13 clips he was going exactly 3h and 5 min. The 4000 mA battery is too fat, yea can push inside but i wanted to let same decent space because Blackbox get a little hot from display if you use 2-3h non stop. I added also screen protection like the ones used for phones, anyway I think 3h battery powered are more then ok for now until this batteries are not getting more thinner

This is Hot Bananas !! 4-6 hours of usage.

'Also I had to move the SMD Condensators to make this large battery fit' .... YES YOU DID lol. No mercy, move those pesky Capacitors.

In the short term, I followed a guy's video in this forum to create my own portable solution. Basically, I use a strip of dual-lock on the back of the BB, which is also on my smaller Anker power bank, so that to go portable, I just attach the battery to the bottom of the BB with a super short USB cable between. Just need to add some additional rubber feet for when not using the battery (to be taller than the dual-lock). The battery has a push button indicator, so I can easily see battery life left, and I got 2 batteries to swap as needed. All of that (including one of the batteries, the small cable, a wired set of ear buds, and an aux cable and iPhone headphone adapter for sampling) fits in a little bluetooth speaker case.

That being said, an MK2 of BB with built in battery, on/off switch, and master volume would be cool.
