Strange problem with my Screen

I seem to have a problem in that my screen has started 'fading' from screen to screen. So if I'm in pads and then move to say mix the screen 'dissolves' to the next screen. I've never had problem with screen burn before (this is my 2nd BB) but I wonder if this is the case? The screen certainly doesn't look right. I only bought it new in May last year. The BB just sits on my desk.

Am I covered by a warranty? Is there any way to resolve this? Any ideas?

You can always try re-installing the firmware. Then send a mail to support.

I've tried this. No luck.

I guess I'll have to email support and see if they have anything.

another possible check: is your bb directly connected to a PSU using the original power adapter?

Yeah, it's plugged in using the original power adaptor.

I've emailed support so hopefully they'll have something else to try.

Having a very similar but slightly more extreme issue with BB MK2 as of booting my system this morning. Tried new firmware, Test mode , etc... I have very distinct vertical lines through the display and text from some menus bleeding through constantly in other menus. I can still use it, but sometimes it's difficult to make out what I need to see. Have Emailed support already, but was curious if and how this resolved for you.
