Seems the issue is related to looping in reverse with LoopFade enabled. This is a weird one. Thanks for reporting.

    1.6.5 bug:
    steps for reproducing:
    - load a stereo (maybe 1 min long or more? haven't checked with a short, drum like sample), 96khz, 24bit sample into pad 1 on a blank preset.
    - set launch mode to "toggle"
    - set loop mode to "forward"
    - set loop fade to "1.0%"
    - in the waveform screen, set the "loop start" and "loop end" to be a little after the "start" position. Leave the "Len" selection to be at the end
    - NOW TAKE OFF YOUR HEADPHONES / TURN YOUR MONITORS WAY DOWN.
    - in "misc," turn "Rev" to ON.
    - Play the sample. Its pure distortion and you need to turn it down like 60db to get it clean.
    - now, here's the really weird part: as it plays in reverse towards the loop selection, the gain comes down from distortion and into unity of where ever the sample is natively recorded.
Working...
