    Actually, the best workaround is to ALWAYS set a specific sub-directory name that is not the same as the preset name. This will deal with this issue in the meantime.

        Also I wanted to apologize here for freaking out on this thread earlier, at first I didn't realize you guys were on the west coast and I was extra anxious from an accidental double dose of morning meds (lol, my bad), hopefully at least it was useful in identifying a bug, thanks for your professionalism and patience with me! It's appreciated a bunch.

          Steve could you kindly detail your process here? I set up a specific name for an instrument that was different than the preset title and still had the same issue, though I was able to fix it by hitting granular and then reloading the multisample
