I know we have some of this stuff now but I would love more effects. Version 1.9/2.0 gave me most of my wishes but I would make good use of a lot of the effects on list.

Even a little while after the last entry i'd vote for some more basic FX available to choose for the 2 slots.
I agree with the initial post and would add a vote for a tremolo, a pan and an OD.

Effects processing is definitely the weakest part of this box. Even just a few more FX for flavor would help +1

Bumping threads like this don't help 1010 prioritize because they're too general. Single feature threads are better. If you have a specific effect you want to see implemented, find a thread describing it and add a "+1" to it. I made one thread for overdrive and one thread for chorus because those are two effects I would most like to see implemented.

An emulation of the Kong OSC/FX Multiengine then not even needed to strike a deal, or Sinevibes to make any port

Right now the BB and the NTS-1 make a great pair but a more self-contained Blackbox would be pretty sick.

@thus The thread gets the point across that other FX are wanted by users regardless of how general the requests are. People have been asking for more Fx since the beginning. Should 1010 decide to implemnent some more FX, they've got plenty of ideas in this thread and probably a couple of others to choose from.

Jack Pimiento, this thread was started with the intention to make the Blackbox into an effects-centric monster like a 404. I don’t think the Blackbox is destined for that. Since the OG post, others have chimed in with their pet preferences for which effects are or are not important. There is no consistent “point” to this thread. My impression, from being a very regular reader and contributor to the forum, is that threads like this have less influence than single-feature threads with +1 votes added. Steve literally keeps a database of feature demand.

I’m not trying to tell you what to do. I’m just sharing information about how you can give yourself a greater influence on what features get implemented.

To be fair - there is a lot of truth here. I don't track these requests daily. I do a search every now and again. This thread may or may not be in those search results. It is also not just about finding a thread. Seeing the support (+1s) is important because it directly affects how I log and prioritize, and ultimately advocate. If these requests are splintered across several threads they are more likely to be lost in the shuffle.
