  • Decouple the ADSR envelope from the volume to make it usable as modulation source

In many cases, the ADSR isn't really needed for the sound design so it's more or less useless then. But if one could use it as a modulation source for all parameters, it would open a lot of possibilities. Even when the envelope is already used for the amp, being able to also assign it to the filter or pitch as well would increase the musical versatility.

Great idea and certainly simple to implement +1

+1 for this definitely. In the meantime without this I’ve found it useful to modulate parameters like filter cutoff using a triggered LFO set to reverse saw. This is close to an envelope and if the rate is set just right it won’t start a second cycle while the sample is playing back if it’s a one shot. Of course it does use up the LFO. Sounds decent though.

An envelope that can be assigned to the filter, res or pitch would be be great. Would prefer a separate one to the amp eg though.

+ 1 to having 2 EG's, one for amp and one as modulation source

+1, a lot of common synth sounds need two envelopes

+1 for a 2nd or even 3 ADSR envelopes assignable to multiple parameters. If the curve of ADR can be controlled for convex / concave ADR it would be fantastic.
