Sample follow is cool but it doesn't always work very well. It's unclear when it's active and not sometimes. Sometimes you try to zoom in on something only for sample follow to take over and change the view, so you have to try and find where you were in the sample again.
Would be great if there was a toggle switch to follow or not follow. In the new mode the waveform could be static and the playback is represented by a line that moves over it?
Could be a toggle button in the menu where you select playback mode (Sample, Clip, etc)?
