Just wanted to say that it would be super cool if we could map "slice" in slicer mode to trigger via pitch, so as to slice by note. Basically to emulate the mpc flow, where you just play a sample and press an empty pad at the moment which you would like to slice. Additionally, while slicing I would love to be able to scroll through the sample with a knob instead of on-screen only, as the knobs are far more precise than my clumsy fingers.
Currently the knobs are a little under utilized in slicer mode. Keeping slice number is smart as not everyone will be using midi pads with their blackbox, but it would be great if upon selecting a given slice (whether via the slice number knob or a pad/key on a controller) we could have some on control over certain parameters with the other three knobs. Maybe knob 1 could scroll through the whole wav file, knob 2 could fine tune the start point of the selected slice, knob 3 could zoom in/out on file, and knob 4 could be you manual slice selection (for those not using midi controllers).
I think it would be great!
