navitage inside long samples

it would be great if we could quickly jump to a position within a long sample (mine are sometimes 20min). With the potentiometer, this is unfortunately very tedious and lengthy. Nice would be with a finger on the display. Thanks !

Bookmarks come to mind.

Knobs might have acceleration self-tuned to the magnitude - different for 0-127 vs for 0 - 60 minutes. Some formula behind it for sure.
Novation Impulse keyboards that they had very clever acceleration in their knobs.
