Anyway blackbox could link/synch to loopcloud app on a laptop and download samples etc (Elektron digitakt now does this)

Please, no. Blackbox is a sampler. If you don't want to create or use your own samples please use a different instrument. I mean no disrespect, I have nothing against using canned samples, but 1010 has already been favoring MPC-style workflows over sound design improvements in the last few firmware updates. I still have a sliver of hope they will get back to developing the sampling capabilities of the Blackbox. Adding loopcloud et al support would be a further distraction from that.
