Multitimbral/keyboard split

Hey there. I have been wondering the possibilities of using Blackbox as a multitimbral instrument. It is clear that we can load multiple multisample pads to layer them in one or to play them through different channels. But I also wish it can create a keyboard split conveniently, like playing bass and pad or lead in different octaves. A workaround could be grouping and naming the samples on a computer beforehand, but it would be nice to have the feature implanted to create a smooth sampling and performance workflow. Please let me know what you think. Thanks a lot.

Many (most?) external keyboard-controllers let you specify a split that sends to two different midi channels. Do you have one that doesn’t?

Unfortunately yes. I think the cheaper/more compact ones definitively do not have the split feature.
