It's on our list. I've given it a high priority. Thanks for the input.

      Yes please consider this feature!

I'd like to point out here that the current suggested work around for zero loop crossing is to use granular to smooth the edges. Granular was added in an update mid to late 2019.

Sadly the Granular option doesn't sound good at all and doesn't eliminate clicks. I hope that crossfade functionalities are still being considered.

Christine While I appreciate that granular was implemented to solve the clicking loop points, it doesn't really work in that role. If I place a sample of a synth note on a pad, set the sample to bi directional looping, I can't hold a note on the (BB) keyboard and have the note play between the loop points until I stop pressing the key. Even if I were to just trigger a sample with a long release you can still hear either clicks or slight pitch changes to the sample as it hits the loop braces. In regular sample mode there are dull but audible clicks between the loop points In Granular mode there is a momentary but audible pitch shift when the sample hits the loop braces.

I do value the effort that 1010 are putting into the BB but I feel that the looping as it is isn't that usable. There must be a way to solve this?

if this is implemented, please allow an option to bypass as I like working with tiny buzzy loops of samples and I think this would kill them!

I agree with Jack et al that granular (at least in its current implementation) doesn’t work as a functional substitute for a real crossfade function. We need proper crossfade functionality in Sample Mode (that can be set to off or 0% when not used.

We also need a thin line in the waveform view marking zero amplitude and snap to zero functionality (that can be disabled when not wanted).

                  Has this been implemented now?

+1 for zero cross snapping, it is not a perfect solution but it definitely makes it easier than pure trial and error / irritating touch screen luck.

I think a really interesting software called “sample robot” has a cool way of automatically finding loop points, it seems to be automatic but I’ve never taken the dive on the software as it’s pricey. Part of this auto mode is probably zero Cross maybe also something with phase. And maybe even scanning the wave cycles and finding relationships. Worth taking a look https://samplerobot.com/pages/samplerobot

Seems far fetched but would be awesome to have a suggested loop scan option. Maybe it offers two or three options and the user could choose. Random thoughts. Let me know if this idea is worth it’s own thread.

+ 1, because when i want clicks, i do sample clicks, lol

+1 fade in and out or zero crossing points!

                          yes please +1
sometimes attack and release help. also notice that sometimes the playback ends just a bit past where I've set the slice mark (at zero) and produces a click, even with reelase set to 0. spendign less time on these attempts and just ability to do fade out/in would be great

+100 for this feature, especially for multi-sampling. A LOT of the items I sample require looping and, on average, I sample as many as 33 times per instrument. That means I have to go in 33 times to a wave editor like Sound Forge and create a seamless loop. We need the ability to create seamless loops with crossfading as part of the multi-sample recording process.

Be aware that even properly configured multisamples don't loop when played on Blackbox (as of firmware 2.9.1). It's on the Wish List, so be sure to search for that thread and give it a +1! I desperately want it. :-)

+1 for automatic zero crossing. Loop fade is a great function and well-implemented, but it requires that I build out the start of my loops so there is extra sound there available to be faded.
