  • Keyboard - scale assist mode

Having a scale assist mode would be so useful. So in keyboard mode, some of the keys would get coloured slightly
to indicate what keys are available in a particular scale/key. The knobs could rotate through the different scales.

Very good idea, a bank of chords and chord progressions classified by scale would also be nice and would definitely not take any significant cpu.

Indeed. It could be user configurable. For example - you could hold down a major chord on the screen, hit a button and it then gets memorised. Chord memory. The same for scales - hold down a selection of keys (of a particular scale), hit a button and it gets memorised to recall for later.

Ultimately this feature would give more weight to the onscreen keyboard mode.

I wonder if rather than just indicating the notes, something could process the notes into a force-to-scale sort of thing, on a per-sequence basis.... & maybe, CPU dependent, this could be extended to processing midi notes that are passing through the box....
