SD Card doesn't pop out as described

My SD card does not pop out as described in the manual by pushing it in until it clicks. It does gradually ooze out at a sloth-like speed over the course of 10 minutes until I can grab it with my component pliers, but I thought it'd be much poppier. Is this an issue for others as well? I don't know if I errantly bent the port by jamming it in at an askew angle or something. Besides that, the SD card functions perfectly normal during operations.

not a problem on my device. but i want to add my concern regarding sd slot: what do i do in 5 years if the little spring to put the card out breaks? the design of the box makes it hard/impossible to get the card then...
