midi controller knobs soft takeover/pickup of bluebox values

hi,
i want to use my behringer x-touch mini with the bluebox and the mapping went fine so far. but there is one big downside: after starting the bluebox the saved volumes of a project will get overriden, when i use the x-touch: i turn the knob and the volume starts at zero again (like, where the knob begins after plugging in x-touch). in software you have typically an option to toggle between soft takeover/pickup the saved value of a knob/slider, but i don't find that in bluebox. do i miss something or is it not there - or may the x-touch be the problem?

The bluebox does not offer soft takeover, as of version 1.1.3. The values will jump as soon as you move the controller. This jump will be shown onscreen with a new value.

thank you aaron, it's good to know that! i could understand, if this is not in the focus of development right now (backlog must be long ) i will put this in the improvement section and hope, this is ok.
