Struggling to send clock from Elektron Digitakt to Bluebox

    Hello,

I'm quite new to this work of music and I'm really enjoying it, I recently bought myself the Bluebox and it's wonderful.

I'm been trying to send the Digitakts clock to Bluebox. I have the Midi cable plugged into the Midi Thru Sync B to the Midi In of the Bluebox and I restarted it holding B and went to the Midi section and hit play on the Digitakt and I get nothing. The Digitakt is the main clock for my other gear.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I'm on the latest firmware too.

I don't have a digitakt in front of me at the moment. But I would look at pg 65 in the user manual. You need to send MIDI clock and Transport to the bluebox. If you have any DIN sync enabled, MIDI clock is not sent to the MIDI outputs.

Try simplifying your setup. Does the bluebox sync to the keystep?

This setup will work if you connect your Typhon MIDI Out to the Bluebox in.
Go to the Typhon Global Settings, Port Config->Outputs and be sure to enable MIDI or USB+MIDI.
Next go to Master Clock and set it to Receive->External & Transmit->Enable. I can confirm this works.
