Bluebox stops receiving sound!

Hey there,

first off all, the bluebox is awesome.
It really became the perfect solution in my current jammin setup.
But, there is one issue which drives me crazy. Every now and then it suddenly stops to receive sound… at all inputs. Only chance to get it back to work is to unplug/plug it. It is not freezing .. only all inputs are „dead“ all of sudden. I couldn‘t identify what cause it yet. it really seems to happen randomly.

My Setup:
Hydrasynth, System1m, a blackbox, model sample & a small eurorack are midi sequenced with a squarp pyramid. Everything is connected to the bluebox + out2 leads back into my eurorack for fx crazyness. The Pyramid feeds the Blackbox with clock & notes and the Blackbox midi out is connected to Bluebox Midi In for clock. (attached photos of my setup)



Any Idea what causes the issue and how to fix it?

Please always share your firmware version(s) as a number. This is an important first step to troubleshooting your issue. Are you using the bluebox as a mixer only? Or are you recording?

Hi Steve, sorry, I'm using 1.2.7. Mainly as a mixer, but yes, I also record occasionally jam sessions as one takes. Not using timeline punch-in&out etc.

You will either hear the input or the recorded track depending on the REC arm status of the track(s). Could this explain what you are seeing?

Ooooh damn. Sorry I was an idiot. Got it.
Thanks a lot. In a future release it might help to have a little play triangle indicator on tracks, to directly understand that it is in „play recording mode“ like ableton does it with clips/arragemenz view.

If you push the EDIT button you will see the tracks that have audio recordings currently loaded.
