  • 44.1 kHz recording

Most audio production is done at 44.1kHz (or some multiple of). Can we get some options in the project menu?

Most? I've been doing production professionally for 15 years and have more often than not worked at 48k.

48kHz was primarily used in digital video capture because it synced to 29.97 frame rates. 44.1kHz was primarily used in audio production for uncompressed CD audio.

Most of that has fallen away more recently due to streaming but the standards still linger.

It would be nice to be able to select 44.1 vs 48, and possibly also 16bit vs 24bit. I change my project and interface settings every time I’m working with imported Bluebox tracks because of the 48/24 setting, which is not what I tend to use most of the time.

This is also an issue here. We sometimes move files to/from the Bluebox and certain Tascam machines, and having to convert the files specifically for the Bluebox can become inconvenient.

I had this issue too when trying to synchronize live jam - blue box recording and camera recording (without option to change sound quality). I gave up, it was very hard to synchronize that (few hours jam).

              44.1 would be nice.
