  • Mute sends to Output 2!

Can we please have a Mute sends to Output 2 option! I just want to be able to send individual Chanels back in to my Octatrack to resample!
My 30 year old Mackie mixer does this.

What do you mean? you can currently send individual sounds to other samplers, that's what the 3 outputs are for. What issues are you running into?

Try the new CUE Toggle mode yet? Sounds like it is what you are after.

Hey Steve, thanks for the info. I've been looking in the online manuals/updates but didn't see the info on the new "cue toggle mode"(guessing it's in track view?) . Also, Is the "toggle cue" button midi mappable?

Yes. CUE should me mappable in either configuration.

I picked up a bluebox. It sounds great and it's easier to get around than I thought- even without midi mapping. I got the cue "toggle" function working but sadly it doesn't seem to cut the signal to the main out when I toggle to to cue out the way a mackie 3/4 alt out does . Am I missing a setting ? I tried a few settings without success. Yes, the work around is to mute the output to the main but thats 2 steps so not great for on the fly routing. Hoping I'm missing something or a future update might fill in

But then I loose my headphone output, no?

        Yes. CUE = headhones.

Yes but it doesn't automatically kill the signal to the main out. Its more like an external FX send. I want to send an individual track to Out-2 only and take it out of the main. Preferible with a "toggle" instead of a send level.

ahh gotcha gotcha yeah that would be great. I imagine in this scenario then you're using HP as a main out. Try using out1 as your mains instead, I'm pretty sure sending a track to out 2 will prevent it from sounding on out1. But I agree being able to remove things from the hp channel would be great

Just watched Loopops review of the Teenage Engineering TX-6 and sure enough it does exactly what I want the Bluebox to do. Send a mixer channel to an alt output and taking it out of the main out with a single button.

        The bluebox does this.

A bit of confusion here... what I understood dutchsoundguy wants: There's already a mute button but it affects only Out 1. So a dedicated mute button for Out 2 would be cool as well so that you don't have to go through gain staging again just to have something on Out 2.

The current implementation allows you to adjust the CUE mode to toggle. This effectively does what the OP is asking for via the CUE output.

I think OP meant Out 2, not CUE because he needs the headphone outputs for monitoring.

Yes. But I still maintain that this is currently possible. You may have to reconfigure your approach to output... but it does work. Independent monitoring outside of the Main mix is the very reason we added this feature. You can drive headphones from any output.
