How to create your own "wave" files with images?

I am considering getting a tool(laser)box. What is the method for packing images into the "wave" files? What are the requirements for the images?

Sorry I missed this post.

Laserbox expects to see a 5-8 channel WAV file with the following channel assignments:
1) X
2) Y
3) R
4) G
5) B

We recommend a sample rate of 48kHz and a bit depth of 24-bits. Other formats will work as well.

Laserbox cannot create these files directly. You will need a special interface to sample 5 channels at once or existing material to draw from.

I'm not aware of software that can create these files directly. You need to put together a system that generates the analog signals (ILDA) and then sample them to audio files. Try the photolexicon forum for more information.
