Internal Grid Keyboard as Midi Controller

I would like it to be able to use the grid keyboard as a midi controller. I assume this is not possible as you can't set the midi out channel. I find it really neat to have all these scales but it's a shame you can't forward the notes to the midi out. Would be the last thing that is missing for me to buy one.

Set any pad's MIDI Out to the desired channel, play grid keys.
