If your Nano is missing samples or presets aren't loading properly and/or you're trying to update or rebuild from the factory image, this guide is for you!
You must first have an account and be logged into our Forum.
Step 1:
Insert your Micro sd card into a card reader on your computer.
Step 2:
Backup any presets and/or recordings you have made.
Step 3:
Download SD Card Formatter for your appropriate operation system from here:
Step 4:
Format your sd card using SD Card Formwatter, if successful move to step 5.
*If the card is unable to be formatted, it is likely damaged/faulty and will need to be replaced.
Avoid generic/bargain micro sd's. Look for 32GB-128GB A1 V10 spec cards.
SanDisk Extreme Pro micro sd's are a reliable option.
Step 5:
Download the factory Disk Image from our forum for your Nano device.
Lemondrop = https://forum.1010music.com/forum/product-downloads/nanobox-firmware-downloads/nanobox-lemondrop-downloads
Fireball = https://forum.1010music.com/forum/pr...all-disk-image
Razzmatazz = https://forum.1010music.com/forum/pr...actory-content
Step 6:
After downloading, unzip the .zip file to reveal a folder. Copy all of the contents of the folder onto to root of your freshly formatted sd card.
Step7:
Download the latest firmware for your Nano.

Fireball = https://forum.1010music.com/forum/pr...ball-downloads
Razzmatazz = https://forum.1010music.com/forum/pr...tazz-downloads
Step 8:
Unzip the NANOLEM.zip, NANOFIRE.zip or NANORAZZ.zip file to reveal NANOLEM.BIN, NANOFIRE.BIN or NANORAZZ.BIN (ignore any errors stating the .BIN file could not be opened). Place the .BIN file onto the root of the sd card, not inside of any folders.
*If you have accidentally unzipped the file twice you may get an auto-rename of the file which will NOT work in your Nano. A name like
NANOLEM 2.BIN will not work, your file name must be exactly as follows: NANOLEM.BIN, NANOFIRE.BIN or NANORAZZ.BIN.
Step 8:
Safely eject the sd card from your operating system, do NOT just unplug the card as this may force you to restart the entire process. Once safely ejected, insert back into your Nano.
Step 9:
Power on the nano and try some presets, you should be all set!
Step 10:
Have fun!
If you're still having trouble: This video shows the process and exactly what your sd card should look like in order to work.
