MIDI over USB

It says "Nanobox does not support MIDI over USB." in the manual, but that was a big disappointment to learn. Hooked it up to my MBP hoping to send some MIDI via Ableton, and couldn't find it in the MIDI setup. Would be nice to sequence it via my MBP without having to use a separate interface with a MIDI port. Hopefully this can be added in a future firmware.

I second that. No possibility of using my Microlab like I do with the Blackbox was a deal breaker for me.

I was surprised to learn that there was no midi over usb too. I hope 1010 can make this happen if the hardware supports it.

Exactly this.
I actually doubt it.
Because if 1010 would have implemented the hardware in that way, I guess 1010 would have offered MIDI over USB already with its product launch.
My guess is, it is only implemented to supply power over USB. Like you would see that on new laptops etc...
But I still hope that I am completely wrong
