Visual Indicator of the Start Position of the Playback Head

It would be nice to be able see some indication of where the start position head is on the sample. I'm adjusting the play position and can't see where the start position is going to be in relation to the waveform. Just a fine line in a different colour would be enough.

Yes, many times the only way to know what the playhead is doing is to shrink the window. Some sort of visual indication of the window's midpoint would be very useful.
