An arp. That’s the idea.

Elaboration- an arp is always dope but if I’m doing sound design somewhere other than my studio I don’t want to have to haul around a sequencer, the note strum and hold is cool for pads but for sounds that have an attack there’s no way to effectively design sound with a sequence running that can trigger the attacks.

agreed, and internal arp ( the usual (up/down, up&down, random, fixed or as played) or a simple step sequencer with accent and swing say 52-70 is good. Both should follow external clock or internal. Tempo on a knob on the same screen and swing below, accent and degree of random on teh other two knobs. This could also go in the fireball. If where to integrate it is an issue perhaps put it under tools?
