Have you noticed, that the granular parameter SPEED (in percent) doesn't stay constant, but changes with the note number of the key you press on the keyboard)? That doesn't make any sense! For testing I took a drumbeat and set the GRAIN SIZE to 10% and DENSITY to 90%. PLAY MODE is set to "MOVING". Then the drumbeat runs through nicely and sounds almost like the original. But when I play it higher up on the keyboard, it sounds faster and lower down it sounds slower - like a normal sampler. But that doesn't have to be the case with a granular sampler. To prove that, I have now set the PLAY MODE mode to from „MOVING“ to „FIXED“ and let the LFO modulate the play position, which gives you a constant modulated speed independent from the note number played on the keyboard.

The second annoying thing I noticed was that the LFO offers no WAVEFORM „SAWTOOTH POSITIVE“, but a „TRIANGLE POSITIVE“. You need a positive LFO waveform, since the play position runs from 0 to 100%, but has no negative values. The disadvantage of „TRIANGLE POSITIVE“ is, however, that the position first runs from 0 to 100% and then backwards, which means I first have the sample forwards and then backwards. On a „SAWTOOTH POSITIVE“ it would run forward, then jump back to 0 and then run forward again.
The most important thing is that I can now play high notes and low notes and the drumbeat always runs at the same speed. I would have expected that with the granular SPEED parameters, too. Because the actual pitch does not come from the speed of the granular PLAY POSITION parameter, but from the parameter PITCH of the individual grains, which is already determined by the note you play on the keyboard.
So the following thing I whish:
1. Keep the granular playback SPEED constant, no matter which note you play on the keyboard (at least make a mode, so you can switch between two options)
2. Add a waveform „SAWTOOTH POSITIVE“ to the LFO
Thank you.
