Aaron just posted an update to the Synthbox Firmware in the Firmware Downloads subforum.

This updated firmware, version 0.9.23, is meant to be used with the Synthbox Beta 2 image. This new version addresses the following:
    1) The UI does not have enough contrast and is hard to see at an angle
    2) Using audio rate modulation can crash the module
    3) There is no sustain pedal support
    4) Pitch bend and mod wheel only work on channel 1
    5) The "Trigger" section in the filter module needs a better name
    6) The location of Pitch is different between the OSC and WTBL cells
    7) Sometimes notes will hang

We look forward to finalizing this build and the presets by Friday the 1st. Thank you for your support.

the firmware for synthbox does not load into bitbox , do I need to upgrade firmware for bitbox first, it shows as synthbox file available on the sd card and offers ''load'' when I select a blue line appears , is this a progress bar , nothing is showing as a progress bar progressing as expected.

When loading new firmware you need to turn off power to the module, then with the microSD card with new firmware inserted, hold down the Home and Info buttons while powering up the module. Please try that and let us know if that works.

You can get this beta software in our Firmware Downloads forum. (This post has been edited to move the firmware links into the new member's only sub-forums for firmware downloads.) Please note that you must be a registered member of this forum to get access to the downloads.

Thank you very much for your support. We look forward to hearing from you.

I have been running the beta software on my Bitbox, but now cannot seem to access the new downloads section. The error message which arose suggested a message to admin, but it also seems I am unable to do this. Am I missing something?

Sorry you are having problems. The link in the quote above no longer works because that post has been deleted. You can navigate to the firmware downloads by going to the firmware downloads subforum on the main page of the forum. Here's a link to that subform: https://forum.1010music.com/forum/pr...ware-downloads. You do have to be logged in to see the downloads folders for each product. Let me know if that helps.

        HI Buzzfunk,
Sorry you are having problems. This thread offered files and instructions to install an update of synthbox on top of an older synthbox installation.

Since you need to do a full install, please download the files from this post:
        https://forum.1010music.com/forum/pr...9-synthbox-1-0

and then follow the instructions in this post:
        https://forum.1010music.com/forum/pr...x-and-synthbox

        Here are few tips:
        - Make sure you loaded all of the files (not must matrix.bin) onto a clean microSD card.
        - remember to hold down the Home and Info buttons when you power up the module.

Note - Christine's comment really helped me out here - I was trying to jump to the Synthbox105 from a new Bitbox, without going through the full install of Synthbox100 first. I recommend making the upgrade steps clear in future updates. I had a semi-working Synthbox and was very confused, until reading through the forums and finally I came across this. I am really enjoying this now - thank you!

Woops. Formating FAT32 did the trick. I think they used ex32? It works now I think. Thanks!

And I was mistaken about the file size. I'm not sure what I was looking at that I got that file size. Sorry for the confusion.

If I transpose 1V/O up 24 semitones in the settings menu, it tracks the expected pitch range.

*edit - Sorry for derailing the thread. I should have started a new one in the support section. Feel free to split these posts from here and move them there if you like
I had same doubt, thanks for advice and information.
