    FAV MIDI DEVICES for Bitbox

    hi 1010 fam!
i'm very curious what midi controllers people are enjoying with the bitbox. I've got a midifighter knob but the problem there is (as well as a lot of minimalist controllers) is there's only a USB out. Any way of solving the usb midi > trs midi conundrum? All the best and happy new year

I like the faderfox uc4, it has midi trs and different type of control (knobs, faders, push encoders, buttons).

      Hi,

You can use a tubbutech usb bridge A, it's a eurorack module who's acting like a usb host/midi merger with Trs midi output

I use the BBM with the NerdSEQ (and some NS expanders), and control it via MIDI - its very rare that I use external clocks and other CV inputs (unless connected via the NS to MIDI) - but there are exceptions where I clock sliced pads via CV. I often use multiple audio in- and outputs on the BBM. And of course I connect the BBM to external MIDI synthesizers too, when I want to do some multisampling.

I'm using my bitbox micro with a model:cycles as sequencer, clock/start/stop. all the 12 knobs can be used per track (midi channel) so there's plenty controls.

Arturia Keystep Pro. It’s bonkers to have four different Multi-Sample pad instruments, controlled by the 4 KSP sequencer… love it so much!
