    Controlling pitch and gate

Hi, I've been using MIDI most of the time with the bitbox, which means you can often trigger and play a sample without too much trouble. However, I've been looking at different eurorack sequencers recently and wondered how it would be possible to use them with the Bitbox. If I understand correctly, the design of the BitBox means you can't trigger via gate and pitch with CV on 8 pads at a time? If so it means you're always missing possible inputs for either gate or CV = you can have 8 samples, but, you have to make a choice to triggering them, or forgetting 4 of them if you want to have separate CV control over your samples .... .

So, have I misunderstood something, if so maybe someone can explain how to have the maximum number of pads controlled gate/pitched. If not, is there already a feature request setup to ask the possibility of using some of the extra/spare audio outputs, which in reality could easily be assignable as CV inputs, thus freeing up all 8 slots for gate(s), and having them CV pitched from some of the 8 audio outs - meaning, you could have the audio out sent to 7/8, and 1 - 6 as assignable CV slots!

Fantastic question and as a new bitbox micro user, i found myself asking the same question. Hoping this will be addressed in the near future or possibly explained in more detail.

Creative limitations! There are already many requests for using a single trigger input for multiple pads, which would help...

The hardware design of the BBM seems to inspire lots of wonderful possibilities that are not actually implemented in the software. I was frustrated with this at first. My advice is to try to accept and work within the limitations of the existing design.
