sample not (always) triggering

I don't know about the Micro, but I made sure the trigger or gate lengths were long enough and that seems to help somewhat. -
Hi,
I have kind of the same problem here.
Shakmat 4brick Rook connected to micro gate input.
Sometimes the micro doesn't fire the sample. (same sample works perfectly when triggered via midi)
Currently on firmware 224 but same thing happens on 221 and 223
I have the feeling it has to do with trig length... does the micro require a minimum trig length to fire a sample?

Yes, you can control the gate signal on a Nerdseq, although you'd probably use the trigger mode and make them (since they're pulses) longer if needed or ratchets etc.Leave a comment:

Sorry, I didn't see your reply. Yes, you can control the gate signal on a Nerdseq, although you'd probably use the trigger mode and make them (since they're pulses) longer if needed or ratchets etc.Leave a comment:

I moved it. But Nerdseq does have a midi expander. Not the craziest question. Can you control the cycle of the gate signal?Leave a comment:

Whoops sorry, it says Support Bitbox Micro - or am I already reading the moved post?
Secondly, no it's not via midi it's being gated/triggered via (as I said) a NerdSeq which send pitch voltage and triggers out of its trigger output.Leave a comment:

are you triggering via MIDI or Gate? Are you asking about bitbox micro? This is not the micro forum. FYI (moved to micro)Leave a comment:

sample not (always) triggering
Hi, can anyone tell me why sometimes samples don't trigger (or at least on my Bitbox Micro). I have some string samples which I have set to 'Sample' and set to Trigger (I've tried Gate too). However, when I run a sequencer to trigger this sample, it doesn't always play, or re-trigger.
Just for your information I'm using a NerdSeq, so the notes should be pretty tight in terms of triggers and notes.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.Tags: None
