V2.2.3: Pad volume from 1/2+FX is much lower than from 1/2 alone.

    SOLVED.

In v2.2.3, when routing a signal to the new 1+FX / 2+FX outputs, the volume of the dry signal is much lower than when routing to 1 or 2 alone. Raising the pad level does not even get to the same level. Also when there are full effects are applied the volume of an individual out is still louder.

I think the volume of the dry signals in the new 1+FX / 2+FX outputs are lowered because summing the FX signal will otherwise clip? But if you have multiple pads routing to a single out, the volume is still louder and do not clip.

    edit: also tested on 2.2.4

    Cheers, Ian

Pad out set to 1/2. Patched 1 (on 1) and '1+FX/2+FX' (on 3+4) outs to a mixer.
Switching from output 1 to 1/2, Mute/unmute on mixer.

Found it. The 1+FX and 2+FX are actually the Master outs of previous versions.
The 'MasterVol' setting is applied to 1+FX and 2+FX . This was (still) at 80%, as where the 3-8 outputs are at 100%.
