Bitbox Micro Black Ringing

Hi all,

Just got a brand new bitbox micro black. Some how it rings when the screen is at 100% brightness. Ringing volume reduces as I reduce the brightness. firmware 2.1.3

How can this be fixed?

Just updated firmware to 2.2.4 beta and the issue still persists

You found the fix. Reduce the brightness.

Forgive my ignorance, but surely this can't be normal behavior? Why have a brightness feature if it causes sound issues?

We use PWM to control screen brightness. Depending on your case and its power supply, you may experience some noise. Consider decreasing the brightness and using the Bright Fine param to find the sweet spot.

Which case are you using? Have you checked the power load against that case for all of your modules?

Hi Steve,

I have an intellijel 7u 104hp case. Thing is - I've previously had a bitbox micro (grey) in the same case previously and didn't have this issue regardless of brightness level. I sold my previous bitbox and regretted it so i bought the black. I did send an email to support. Happy to continue the conversation there.
