I'm finding myself using the keys grid screen more and more -- what a great feature! I wonder if the grid square could be linked to the sample pad launch and envelope settings?

Currently, you touch a grid square and it lights up while held, and goes blank when you take your finger away. Here's what I'm picturing:

Trigger mode: Touch a grid square and the it's lit for the duration the sample is playing and then goes out. The grid square highlight would fade in and out depending on attack/release settings.
Gate Mode: Essentially same as above, except determined by holding your finger on the pad.
Toggle mode: Touch a grid square and the grid square lights up. Touch again to release. Here again the grid square highlight would fade in and out depending on attack/release settings.

The reason this occurred to me is that I often use single-cycle samples set to toggle to create notes/drones. In poly mode it's great to create layers using the keys grid screen, but if I navigate away to work on something else I don't always know which notes I have toggled on when I come back. The behavior above would solve that, and seems like other people would find it useful too?

Thanks for listening!
