As you already know, toolbox was discontinued about a year ago. This really limits the amount of time we can justify chasing down issues. Maybe another user has seen the same problem and has a work around?
Regarding your specific point above, I'm not sure what is happening. May I suggest trying a smaller step size or switching Step Mode to off.

Toolbox Doubling note when recording chords and not recording on the first bar
Been Playing with the midi to my Doepfer Poly interface and if i record from cubase Midi 4 note chords the first bar doesn't record no matter what i do and then the second bar doubles up and so does the 4th bar , im recording 8 bars with the quantise set at 2 bars which is the leangh of the midi files in cubase . No matter what i do it just doesn't record properly . .
Help would be appreciated
