Thanks! I'll check that out wen I get back from work... From what I remember, I can't see the files on the SD card anymore. I didn't even realise there was a trash folder on the SD card :-)
I've ordered a new SD card – 256GB this time.

'Full' message displayed in red on 'project' screen with no files on SD card

I've been making some recordings. A red display showed up onscreen counting down the MB left on the SD card. I removed the card, uploaded the wav files to my laptop and deleted them from the SD card. But the red display persisted. Now...
